Blame corpos for doing it to us, not NG that is just doing what's right. And mistakes can happen too...
Now, I don't know if there's a way to appeal (I'm kinda new to NG) so maybe PM a moderator? I read that they were very open and responds to PM's. :)
Edit : also, I don't know if you're using "Postybird", but if you do, it doesn't chose the rating, so it post your things without rating them at all. It may be that
